Dear Parents and Guardians,
Zanesville City Schools is committed to the safety and health of our students and staff. The Ohio Department of Health has recently sent out NEW K-12 Student Quarantine Guidelines for “Mask to Stay Option” and “Test to Play Option."
These new guidelines offer an in-school alternative for students who have been exposed to COVID-19 in the classroom or during a school related activity. These changes incorporate mask wearing and testing to reduce the chance of spread of COVID-19 and to reduce the number of students being sent home to quarantine. The Isolation guidelines and procedures will remain the same for COVID-19 positive students and staff.
